I built RyTuneX as an open-source tool with a simple philosophy: your data is none of my business. This privacy policy explains how I handle information (or rather, how I don't).
1. No Data Collection
Personal Information: I do not collect, store, or have access to any of your personal information. This includes your name, email, IP address, or any other identifying data.
Usage Tracking: I do not use any analytics or telemetry tools. I have no way of knowing how you use the app or how many times you open it.
Location: RyTuneX does not access or track your location.
2. Local Storage
Any settings or preferences you change within the app are stored locally on your computer only. This data is never uploaded to a server or synced to the cloud. If you uninstall the app, this local data is deleted.
3. Internet Connectivity
RyTuneX is designed to work offline. It only connects to the internet if you manually choose to check for updates via GitHub.
When checking for updates, the app only requests version information from the public RyTuneX repository. No personal data is transmitted during this process.
4. Third Parties
I do not share any data with third parties because I never collect it in the first place. There are no ads, no trackers, and no hidden data-sharing scripts in the software.
5. Changes to This Policy
If I ever add a feature that requires data (such as optional crash reporting), I will update this policy and clearly state what has changed.
